All our Hole Saws will fit Standard Mandrels but All our Mandrels are specially equipped with Tungsten Carbide Tipped Pilot Drills because there is no point having a Hole Saw that will cut through almost anything if the drill cannot !!
Q: What's the best way to drill through thick Brick walls ??
A: We recommend either a Mandrel Extension or a long series 5-6mm Masonry Drill to make one long pilot hole straight through the wall then drill through from each side with the hole saw breaking the core out as you go, ideal for fitting or re routing waste pipes etc.
